Rukmini Ammal is a very beloved devotee of Guruvayurappan right from childhood.

She is from palakkad and has been visiting the tenple for the last 37 years . Early with her late husband and now with her son.

She has seen Guruvayur grow from a simple temple to the place it is today a very much deserved position as the diety is so admirable and removes all obstacles and pain from every ones life.

The last few years, crowd has picked up and while coming from palakkad with her son, she often cannot claim position in the senior citizen queue. Off late the crowd and waiting is too tiring, i sometimes wish i was spider woman who could hang on those huge ceiling fan in the waiting area and hop over the crowd and get to Guruvayurappan.

Some of the waiting is good, as it makes as feel humble and also feels proud that even in current times temple is keeping up with all the ritual and poojas.

My son introduced me to the SevaClub app, and I keep looking at the least crowded time, sometimes ask a few questions and help answer a few too...though my typing is not that great. I wish they offer a voice based msg sending option like whatsapp...
